What should I expect from a Pilates class? The equipment is designed to guide and support your movements. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it incredibly engaging. No prior Pilates experience is required - I will teach you how to properly set up the equipment and help you choose the best exercises for your fitness level. All fitness levels are welcome! 808 studio offers group classes for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students to ensure everyone benefits from their workout. Additionally, private sessions are customized specifically for you. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class, especially if you are new to pilates.

I am new to Pilates, which class should I start with?If you're new to Pilates, we recommend starting with a private session for a personalized introduction to the practice. If that's not possible, our group classes are divided into different levels. Begin with our Reformer 1/2 class, tailored for beginners or those new to exercise, where you'll learn foundational Pilates exercises. If you're more advanced, explore our Reformer 3 or Barre + Mat classes for a challenging workout.

What should I wear to a Pilates class?I recommend fitted workout clothing to allow for easy movement and for instructors to see your form. For women, yoga leggings and a top work well (avoid pants with zippers or pockets on the lower back). For men, long shorts or pants and a t-shirt or tank are ideal. Avoid short running shorts and remember to wear underwear, as you might be doing hip-stretching exercises. Please note that the reformers are white at 808, so no lotions, sunscreen, salt, sand or self tanner, please! Socks are not required here. Be comfortable!

Are socks required? No, socks are not required! :)

What is your cancellation policy? We understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected curveballs, but to ensure fairness for all our clients, we have a cancellation policy in place. Here's how it works: Late Cancel Policy: If you cancel a class with less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time, it is considered a late cancel. A $15 charge will be applied to your account, regardless of your pricing option. No Show Policy: If you fail to show up for a class you've registered for, it is considered a no show. The charges for no shows are as follows: If you purchased a class package, single drop-in, or are on the 808 10 Membership, you will forfeit the session and an additional $20 charge will be applied for the no show. If you are on an unlimited option (such as the 808 New Client Month or the 808 Unlimited Membership), a $20 charge will be applied for the no show. Please note that charges are processed the day after the missed class. Emergencies happen, and I completely understand. If you encounter an emergency situation, please reach out via text or call at 808-960-1686. I am a very understanding person and am happy to work with you within reason. :) All sales are final. No refunds are available.

How do memberships work? All memberships require a minimum commitment of 3 months. You will be automatically billed on the first day of each month using the credit card you provide. It's important to note that classes do not rollover each month. After the initial 3 months, contracts will automatically renew unless you contact the studio in advance to terminate or suspend your membership. Cancellations need to be made one week prior to your next autopay.
